Using Twitter To Get Targeted Leads

1-Go to your twitter account and log in make a note of how many people you are following.
2-Open a new page and Go to http://www.twittgeek.com
3-Select/Click the green button in upper right hand corner that says "sign in with twitter."
4-Enter in your username and password and select Allow (This allows your twitter account to connect with twittgeek.com)
5-Then you will see a place to enter a keyword. (This allows you to target YOUR prospects. If you are interested in people who are looking to make money online then an example to type in the box would be: "Make Money Online" or "Work From Home" or "Affiliate". Make sure to put quotations ("")around your key words and spaces in between each word.
6-Then press start.
7-Be patient because this will take a while because twittgeek is searching the twitter database for your keywords.
8-You can do this every day (Actually every 24 hours) using different keywords. Be Creative in your keywords. 80% of the time people will follow you back.
Also through using this tool you will understand that others are using this too. So what you put in your tweets may end up being keywords that others are searching. ( I will show you cool programs for best keyword searching for twitter and social media accounts, and what is the most popular tweet and or topic that people are talking about so you can take advantage of this too.)

*With any application that you work with along side twitter they will try to advertise through you by putting a tweet on your page. This program for example will put something like "Learn how I get 200 followers a day......" All you have to do to delete this is:
1-Log into your twitter account
2-Scroll to the top of your page and select HOME
3-On the right hand side you will see your following/followers/and tweets. Select tweets. Those are your tweets you have put up. You will probably see for example: "How to get 200 followers a day........" Move your mouse to the right of the tweet and you will see a trash can icon that will allow you to delete that tweet. That way you can get your tweets in there and not advertisement tweets.

The reason why I am so eager for you to stick with twitter is because its the most powerful social networking tool out there. Let me explain:
How many other sites can you send out a message 100 times a day and not let it be spam or for people to think that you are a jerk? If you did this with email people would HATE you if you sent 100 messages in Facebook, Myspace, etc.. people will block you and may report you and you will be kicked off of those sites. Also keep in mind that people who are on twitter are there for information. As with the other social sites, the majority of people are looking more for friends and business partners. To avoid spam and to get peoples trust with twitter i suggest you follow this % module: Make 40 % of your tweets free info and or help (if you don't have free stuff to give away I will give you free stuff when you opt into my webiste and you can turn around and give it your twitter followers for free.) cool news ex: Make the other 40% of your tweets personal things about you so people can trust you by getting to know YOU. Lastly 20% can be selling. (I will tell you later the best way to do this which is called soft selling. Very Powerful.) If you do this you will make money quickly and easily.

The most powerful thing about twitter is that you can direct them any where you want them to go. Example: Twitter to Facebook, Twitter to MySpace, Twitter to your personal website and or your company's website through your affiliate link.

I will show you later how to make your Twitter background site somewhat like mine,  http://www.twitter.com/lindsayb921 with your own personal free picture and cool background. Getting a background with personal character boosts your credibility by not having a twitter pre-made background.

Another good tip is to not follow someone that doesn't have a picture on their profile. More than likely they are just a waste of time. If they can't even spend two seconds to put up their picture, chances are they are not going to give you two seconds to listen to what you have to say about your business.
